Tokei Central Television (TCT) announced on the 23rd that Episode 4 of its ongoing weekend retrospective of the morning drama 'The House by the Window' will air tomorrow, the 24th. The network also revealed plans for a commemorative exhibition of scripts and costumes next spring, ahead of the show's 50th broadcast anniversary next year.

'The House by the Window,' a morning drama set among a family in 1975, is airing a five-episode retrospective on weekends through October ahead of next year's 50th broadcast anniversary, as previously reported. Following Episode 3 on the 18th, Episode 4 airs tomorrow, the 24th, with the final Episode 5 set for October 31. A TCT programming staffer said the network was "moving into the second half of a project to let people experience that fifty-year-old morning again."

TCT also announced on the 23rd that it is preparing a commemorative exhibition for next year, featuring early scripts, costumes actually worn by the cast, and scale models of the show's set design. The venue and dates remain undecided, but the network is aiming for a spring opening. "Sorting through fifty years of records, we're finding things like directors' handwritten notes in the old scripts that look surprisingly fresh from today's point of view," the staffer said.

As previously reported, related promotional tie-ins are already under way alongside the retrospective broadcasts, with more anniversary buildup expected in the months ahead.
