Round 3 of the Tail-Tag student autumn league took place on the 8th at Kameido Second Gymnasium, where Edagawa Metropolitan High School (46 years since its club's founding), previously reported as having won its first two matches, defeated newcomer Kameido Gakuen Private School 11-7 to extend its unbeaten start to three straight wins.

Round 3 of the Tail-Tag student autumn league was held on the 8th at Kameido Second Gymnasium. As previously reported, Edagawa Metropolitan High School's Tail-Tag club — founded 46 years ago, distinct from the school's wall-racing club — opened its season with a 12-9 win over Shiodome Academy on September 14 and followed with a 10-8 win over Tatsumi Metropolitan High School in Round 2 on September 22. On the 8th, facing newcomer Kameido Gakuen Private School, the match stayed close early as both sides traded strip captures, but Edagawa pulled away in the second half with a run of consecutive captures to close it out 11-7.

Edagawa's team captain, a third-year student whose name has not been disclosed, said afterward, "Not knowing a new team's habits made this one scarier than the first two. But the team motto is: the scarier it gets, the more you go back to basics." The club's advisor added, "A third-year player finally felt able to tell a younger teammate not to be scared. That change means more to me than the win total."

Newcomer Kameido Gakuen kept the first half close despite being a newly formed club. Its captain, a second-year student whose name has not been disclosed, said, "We lost, but if we can carry that first-half feeling into the second half next time, who knows." The league continues through November.
