Suzaki Complex No. 3 'Knocking' Reaches 38 Reports — Fourth Straight Match to the First Round's Order
Suzaki Complex No. 3's ongoing pre-dawn 'knocking' reports rose from 37 to 38 before dawn on the 24th. This time it came from the fourth floor, the fourth report in the previously reported 'second pass' following the first, second, and third floors — meaning the order has now matched the first pass four times running. The management association again held its cautious line: 'It looks like a pattern is forming, but it's still within the range of coincidence.' A covert patrol officer stationed on the third floor was again unable to detect anything.
Suzaki Complex No. 3's "knocking" reports rose from 37 to 38 before dawn on the 24th, this time from a resident on the fourth floor. As previously reported, the "second pass" that began on the 21st has moved from the first floor to the second on the 22nd and the third on the 23rd; today's fourth-floor report means the order has now matched the first pass four times in a row. The pattern itself remains unchanged, still consistent with the original tendency of two reports each, moving up from the lower floors.
The management association held its previously reported position on the morning of the 24th: "It looks like a pattern is forming, but it's still within the range of coincidence." One board member said, "I understand the urge to say something once the order lines up four times running. But even if the fifth matches too, I don't think that would count as 'understanding' anything." The expanded security camera footage again showed nothing unusual, the association said.
As previously reported, a covert patrol officer from the Patrol Guild's Tokei chapter has joined overnight checks since the 14th, but was stationed on the third floor before dawn on the 24th and could detect no presence or sound when the fourth-floor report came in. The officer said only that "there isn't yet enough to judge whether the assignment should change."
According to the TDA, the permeation index around Suzaki Complex No. 3 held at normal levels before dawn on the 24th, with no observation event corresponding to a Yuragi confirmed. As previously reported, the Sept. 21–23 spring tide ended on the 23rd, and no connection to the tide period has been found so far.
As previously reported, the management association had described the pattern restarting from the first floor on the 21st — just after completing a full circuit of all five floors on the 20th — as "looking like it circled back to the start." Reacting to today's fourth match, one resident in their sixties, speaking anonymously, said, "During the first circuit I was afraid. On this second one, somehow, I find myself listening a little more calmly." The association again urged residents not to answer any pre-dawn knocking.
Both the truth and the cause remain unresolved.
