Late-Night Knocking Reports Reach 19 as Management Association Holds Its Line
Reports of the pre-dawn "knocking" at Suzaki Third Housing have risen from a previously reported 17 to 19. The management association is maintaining its earlier instruction not to respond, and the permeation index remains at normal levels. Neither police nor TDA have changed their earlier assessments.
Two new reports of the pre-dawn knocking at Suzaki Third Housing, on the mornings of August 28 and September 2, have brought the previously reported total of 17 to 19. According to the management association, the pattern remains unchanged: two knocks each, moving from the lower floors upward, with no figure visible on security cameras. The association has kept its building-wide notice in place unchanged, instructing residents not to respond to the pre-dawn knocking, and to report to the association regardless of whether anything seems out of the ordinary if they do respond.
TDA repeated that there is no corresponding observation event, and that the permeation index has stayed at normal levels throughout the periods in question. Police have maintained their earlier assessment that there is no indication of a crime. "The numbers have gone up, but nothing about the content has changed," an association representative said. "We don't think this calls for a different response yet." The matter remains unresolved, with residents divided between trying not to think about it and finding the rising count hard to ignore.
