The management association of the Suzaki No. 3 housing block said on the 9th that predawn reports of "knocking" have risen to 23, up from 21 previously reported, with two new incidents in the early hours of the 8th and 9th. Both followed the established pattern noted before — two knocks each, moving floor by floor from the lower levels upward — and, as before, no figure appears on camera.
The association had until now left its building-wide notice in place, advising residents not to answer. On the 9th it said it is considering adding more security cameras to common areas. "If we can reduce the blind spots in the current cameras, we might learn something," one board member said. "Even if we don't, we'd like to ease residents' unease a little." No timeline or number of new cameras has been set.
The permeation index in the area has remained at normal levels throughout, and both TDA and police continue to hold their previous positions. The association is keeping its guidance in place: report any incident, whether or not anything unusual is found, even if a resident does answer the door. Neither the truth of the matter nor its cause has been resolved.
