Round 20 of the wall racing league is set for the night of Sept. 4 at Horikawa Wall, home of sixth-placed Owari. League leaders Tokei RC (44 points), six clear of second-placed Naniwa WC, go for a fourth straight win on the road after edging Hokuto in the rain at Kameido last round. Rui Migiwajima, 17, is again expected to run third leg.

Horikawa Wall, with its long hours of sun, is known as the league's dry wall — conditions the reverse of last round's soaked face — and Owari are unbeaten at home this season. "A dry wall is an honest one," their manager said. "This will be a contest between honest parties." Three rounds remain; the title race enters its steepest pitch of the autumn.
