Suzaki Knocking Reports Reach 25; Camera Installation to Begin Following Two More Incidents
Predawn reports of "knocking" at Suzaki Third Housing have risen from a previously reported 23 to 25, with two new incidents in the early hours of the 10th and 11th. The pattern remains unchanged and the permeation index stays at normal levels, but the management association notified residents on the 11th that it will proceed with installing additional security cameras, a step it had earlier said it was only considering.
Following two more reports on the mornings of the 10th and 11th, the tally of "knocking" incidents at Suzaki Third Housing has risen from a previously reported 23 to 25. The pattern — the timing, the two-knock signature, and the progression from lower floors upward — remains unchanged, as previously reported. In a notice to all households on the 11th, the management association said it would proceed with installing additional security cameras in common areas, a step it had earlier described only as under consideration.
"Adding cameras isn't really about identifying a cause so much as making sure we have a record," an association official said, noting that existing cameras have recorded no one in the corridors at the relevant hours, and that more cameras carry no guarantee of an explanation. Police continue stepped-up night patrols but have not identified a cause.
TDA reiterated on the 11th that the permeation index in the area remains at normal levels, with nothing in its records corresponding to the reports. The management association is also holding to its earlier instruction not to respond to the knocking. For now, only the count keeps climbing — 25, as of this report — with the truth of the matter still undecided.
